Jack Devine, founder and chairman of The Arkin Group and a three-decade CIA veteran, delivered the keynote, arguing that fear is the ingredient that keeps autocratic rulers in power and predicting the conditions were in place for an eventual Russia-Ukraine ceasefire. Shareholders from Greenberg Traurig walked attendees through the intricacies of the U.S. legal system, and outgoing CLCA chair Martin Jenewein and incoming chair Nicolai Frederik Bonnen Rossen framed the group’s continued work as litigation communications becomes a growing necessity in disputes increasingly decided outside the courts.
